Let’s Play Bugs Bunny Rabbit Rampage #02 – Sinus Treatment
I seriously don’t recommend someone soccer punting you in the nose to treat your sinus infections. It’s not worth the surgeries. Also a shame that all Marvin Martian does is release bombs every few moments, and you can’t fight him. Next part I’ll deal with Tasmanian Devil. Game published by Sunsoft.

Can you appeal or sue an employer(target) for a wrongful firing?
Question by : Can you appeal or sue an employer(target) for a wrongful firing?
Hi, I wasn’t “Let Go” or “Fired” or anything. I am simply curious If anybody knows the employment laws of Washington state.
I am a college student full-time and full-time Target teem member.
I don’t miss a lot of work, I am usually there early and I never get “no call / no shows” (when you dont show up)
I have called into work maybe 3 or 4 times over a 12 month period….several hours before my shift begins. I only do this If I am sick or something comes up… like a car wreck that happened.
Today I called in (got out of class, bad sinus cold..can’t close tonight.. body needs rest) and the Team leader exec (lod) said “Ok but just to let you know, there has been strings of attendance issues…..so if we pick up a pattern, we might have to go down a different road with you”
I was a bit shocked and asked: “There has been issues whith me?” and she replied “We’ll, we will be looking for patterns of issues”
I don’t think I should stress, but I am. Im wondering, is there any employment laws that I can use to appeal a termination over sickness should I find myself in the center of their bulls-eye?
I should also say that I constantly pick up other peoples shifts when they call in or dont show up…and I clock in early If they need me to. This should be somewhat of a testiment to my work ethic….should It come into question.
I dont wan’t these automated copy’n paste links from spambots.. real answers and real people please.
X) much thanks!

don’t think you have anything to worry about, the response you got was a generic one addressing what sounds like a developing problem at the store and not directed at you in particular………
so relax, continue to do your best and follow the stores policies on calling in to work when/if you are unable to work.
with that out of the way:
wrongful termination only exist IF you have an employment contract that is breached (which you don’t have) or you are terminated for an illegal reason such as discrimination, retaliation or taking part in a protected activity. absenteeism is NOT a protected activity even with a doctors statement……
the ONLY absences that must be excused are those covered by FMLA or similar state program……
so if you were terminated for the absences you most likely would have NO legal recourse……

Severe Allergies and Menstruation?
Question by : Severe Allergies and Menstruation?
I am having a problem that usually a week before my menstrual cycle I get a really bad “cold/sinus infection”. I get a fever, severe congestion, severe itchy drippy eyes, and sometimes a sore throat. Usually, your typical OTC allergy meds do not work.
I am at loss, and have no idea what else to do or how to get this to stop.
Has anyone experienced this or knows what this is?

I could be that it isn’t an allergy but just your way of getting your menstruation. Maybe you have to ask your gynecologist what you can do against it. Check what you’re doing short before and it could be as well that you have to make another appointment with an dermatologist. I never heard that before that this happened to somebody, so sorry that I’ve no answer for you..

Is 16 too old to get tubes in your ears?
Question by : Is 16 too old to get tubes in your ears?
Im 16 and I had what i call an “all around infection” recently, (sinus, throat, and ear) and everything has cleared up except the ear infection, now i have fluid in my ears and everything sounds muffled. If the antibiotics and nasal spray doesnt let me hear good again my ENT said that i will have to have tubes put in my ears. I have three questions really, 1) Does it hurt? 2) am i pretty old for this? ive only heard of toddlers getting this done. and 3) how long do they stay in? weeks? months? years?
im not really looking forward to this and i HOPE that i dont have to get tubes, she put me on the strongest antibiotic i can take because i am diabetic and im allergic to pennicillin. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Anyone can get myringotomy tubes no matter what age. It is usually done under anesthesia and should make things remarkably better as far as drainage of the eustachian tubes (in the ears). They can stay in for a very long time but it is not uncommon for them to fall out on their own once the tube in the ear heals open.

Constant ringing, pain, pressure in ear; coughing, wheezing, etc.; “no infection”?
Question by : Constant ringing, pain, pressure in ear; coughing, wheezing, etc.; “no infection”?
My right ear is in pain almost every moment of the day and night and is ringing so loudly that it’s hard to fall asleep, and I can feel a lot of pressure inside it, like there’s water or cotton stuck inside. I’m having trouble hearing out of it and it hurts even when I turn my head, chew, yawn, etc., and the pain runs down from my ear and along the side of my neck. I’ve been getting pounding headaches on the right side of my head as well, and the right side of my throat is extremely sore. My left side is also affected, just not to the same extent. The pain killers I’ve tried over the last week and a half or so (Motrin, Aleve, and a low dosage of codeine syrup) help only slightly, despite my almost nonexistent tolerance for them; the pain is that bad.
A few days ago my doctor told me there’s no infection in my throat or my ears. I recently had pneumonia (which WAS diagnosed) and also still have pressure in my chest accompanied by congestion, violent coughing, wheezing, and pain in my chest and back when I inhale, but again, apparently nothing is wrong.
If there’s no infection, what could all this be? I’ve never had such horrible pain in my ear for this amount of time, even though I’ve dealt with sinus issues for my entire life. I’m also worried about how difficult it is to breathe, and about the blood I sometimes cough up (it’s bright red though, not brown or black, but it IS very thick and concentrated, and takes about an hour to fully stop coming up).
Should I try to consult another doctor? I’m a young high school student so I’m pretty much under the control of my parents, who often get angry at me when I say I’m sick and seem to be pretty upset with me already, so I don’t want to jump the gun and just cause more problems.
What could be causing all this if “nothing is wrong”?

Answer by Shortstuff13
You need to see a ENT specialist. (ears, nose, throat) Your parents need to know about all of your symptoms if they don’t already. It’s not normal to have such symptoms, so there’s definitely something wrong. Your parents need to find out what’s wrong, since your first doctor didn’t. As for the ear pain, I’m assuming that your doctor ruled out earwax impaction as well. It has happened to me & was so bad, that I couldn’t hear out of it, & had pain in it. The blood issue bothers me, & you need a doctor to find out where this blood is coming from. Talk to your parents & have them call your doctor, for a referral to an ENT specialist. I wish you the best & I hope you’re feeling good real soon.
